Cairo – Mubasher: Mubasher International Trade for Securities (MubasherTrade) came among the top 10 brokerage firms in terms of the trading value on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) during February.
Mubasher ranked third with a trading value of EGP 4.08 billion, acquiring a market share of 5.4%, through the exchange of 1.7 billion shares.
Mubasher Capital Holding for Financial Investments is planning to diversify its products in the Egyptian capital market and launch more retail and corporate services, Vice Chairperson, Ehab Rashad, said.
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) granted Mubasher Capital a licence to provide custodian services, he revealed.
Beltone Securities Brokerage topped the list with a market share of 14.4% valued at EGP 10.89 billion, followed by Hermes Securities Brokerage with 8.2% or EGP 6.17 billion of total turnover.
Pioneers Securities landed the fourth position with a trading value of EGP 4.08 billion, followed by the Commercial International Brokerage Company with EGP 3.477 billion, the Financial Brokerage Group with EGP 3.4 billion, and Arabeya Online Securities with EGP 2.61 billion.
Sigma Securities Brokerage ranked eighth with a traded value of EGP 2.09 billion, while Pharos Securities Brokerage and Arqaam Securities Brokerage made up EGP 2.07 billion and EGP 2.04 billion, respectively.
