UAE stock markets close Sunday in red zone
The benchmark index of the DFM went down 0.92%

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Sunday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.92% to settle at 2,545.64 points by the end of Sunday's session.

A total of 115.62 million shares were traded through 1,941 transactions valued at AED 152.62 million.

Emirates Refreshments led the losing stocks with 9.96%, while Dubai Refreshments topped the rising stocks with 3.18%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down by around 0.02% to close Sunday at 5,691.46 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 824.53 million after 160.38 million shares had been traded through 2,431 transactions.

Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) headed the red zone with 9.63%, while Emirates Insurance came on top of the green zone with 14.93%.
