Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s net international reserves increased by $100 million month-on-month (MoM) in February, according to data released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Sunday.
The country’s net foreign reserves amounted to $40.200 billion at the end of last month, compared to $40.100 billion a month earlier, data showed.
In May 2020, Egypt received a $2.7 billion loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the rapid financing instrument (RFI).
In addition, the government also reached a staff-level agreement with the IMF on a $5.2 billion standby loan.
