Dubai – Mubasher: The board of Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) has proposed to distribute cash dividends of 8.25 fils per share for the first six months of 2020, instead of the previous proposal of 3 fils per share.

This step was made after the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) had not approved the board's proposal of paying out special cash dividends of  5.25 fils per share, according to the company's disclosure to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Monday.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2020, the company showed a boost in net profits to AED 136.129 million, compared to AED 59.816 million in 2019.
