UAE - Mubasher: Emirates National Oil Company Group (ENOC) has achieved AED 86.9 million in cumulative savings through its innovation programme.

Since its launch in 2012, the group's innovation programme has received 3,824 innovative suggestions submitted by its employees and implemented 332 ideas, contributing to its financial savings, according to a press release on Monday.

In 2020, the group has applied 88 submitted ideas out of 661, including a decrease in operational and maintenance costs and improvement of efficiencies across its operations.

The implemented suggestions have led to a 10% rise in saving when compared to 2019.

The Group CEO of ENOC, Saif Humaid Al Falasi, said: "As we dawn upon a new era driven by advances in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and alternative energy, we hope to utilize innovation and the application of disruptive technology to generate greater value for ENOC and the communities where we operate."
