Dubai – Mubasher: Shuaa Capital has appointed Walid Al Hindi as the CEO of its real estate portfolio, which has developments across the value chain and multiple geographies.

With over $11 billion in real estate investments, Shuaa manages and develops assets through Northacre and Astrea in the UK, Terra Real Estate Investments in the UAE, and SHUAA Capital Saudi Arabia, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Walid has more than 25-year experience in the real estate sector, as he was previously the CEO at IMKAN Properties to lead developments across six countries, currently valued at more than AED 100 billion.

The new CEO was also a board member and Managing Director of IMKAN Misr and a board member of IMKAN Maroc and HHRM, an international hotel management company.

Before joining IMKAN, Walif held the position of Chief Development Officer for Emaar Misr to manage a portfolio of developments amounting to $12 billion.
