Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) announced signing an agreement with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to establish a fund for financing securities brokerage companies.

The fund will help increase the volume of liquidity pumped into the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), encourage the entry of new investors, and boost the solvency and financial capacity of current investors, the FRA said in a statement on Wednesday.

The Chairman of the FRA, Mohamed Omran, said that the CBE has long supported the market with the government paying more attention to the securities market in supporting economic development plans.
