Egypt to inaugurate New Administrative Capital in H2-21

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Housing, Assem El-Gazzar, announced on Thursday that a number of new cities will be inaugurated during the second half (H2) of 2021, including the New Administrative Capital, West Assiut (Nasser City), New Qena, and New Aswan.

During The Real Gate exhibition, El-Gazzar revealed that the populated area makes up 14.5% of the country’s total area, up from 7.5% earlier, thanks to the recent projects built during the last six years, including the New Administrative Capital and New Alamein City.  

He stressed that fourth generation cities are aimed at creating developmental opportunities and economic activities for citizens, providing job opportunities, achieving sustainable development, and enhancing the quality of lives of Egyptians.
