ArabFinance: The Saudi Arabian Oil Company’s (Saudi Aramco) has taken part in launching Altamayyuz Finance and Accounting Excellence Academy which aims to build the capabilities of top finance and accounting graduates in Saudi Arabia.

The inauguration of Altamayyuz is expected to help in boosting the growth of financial services across the region while creating a “highly-skilled talent pool” for private and public employers, Aramco said in a press release.

Altamayyuz is considered the first-of-its-kind collaboration between major accountancy firms and investment banks with a goal of setting up a centre of excellence for finance and accounting.

Aramco partnered with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, Saudi National Bank, HSBC, Citi Bank, JP Morgan, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, EY, and Morgan Stanley to launch Altamayyuz. 

Aramco Chairman, Yasir Al Rumayyan, said: This academy will play an effective role in enriching the financial, investment, and accounting sectors, further enabling the economic renaissance currently underway in the Kingdom."

Atamayuzz Academy programmes have started and a typical programme will last for six months.
