UAE - Mubasher: DP World has signed its strategic partnership with Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai, marking the first collaboration for the smart end-to-end supply chain logistics provider with a hospital.

Under the partnership, DP World will provide the hospital with logistical and supply chain services, including pharmaceutical storage and delivery, warehouse management, surgical consumables, and other hospital utilities, according to a press release on Monday.

Patients will benefit from this collaboration in terms of the availability of quality and life-saving medicines, quicker recovery periods, and reduced hospital stays.

The CEO of Fakeeh University Hospital, Fatih Mehmet Gul, said: "While DP World handles the logistics and supply chain activities, our in-house team of specialists can focus on our core healthcare delivery areas."

Meanwhile, the Chief Commercial Officer of DP World UAE Region, Abdulla bin Damithan, remarked: "The partnership with Fakeeh University Hospital ushers in a new phase for us as we expand DP World's presence in the healthcare sector, contributing to the transformation of Dubai into a leading healthcare destination through fostering innovative and integrated care models."
