UAE stock markets maintain downward performance on Wednesday
The benchmark index of the DFM went down 0.38%

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have kept the downward performance by the end of Wednesday's trading session for the second session in a row.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.38% to settle at 2,620 points by the end of Wednesday's session.

A total of 100.75 million shares were traded through 2,219 transactions valued at AED 159.46 million.

Depa PLC headed the losing stocks with 9.76%, while Emirates Refreshments topped the rising stocks with 14.89%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down by around 0.6% to close Wednesday's session at 6,083.28 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.08 billion after 122.7 million shares had been exchanged through 1,366 transactions.

Ras Al Khaimah National Insurance Co came on top of the green zone with 14.91%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) led the red zone with 9.96%.
