EGX30 slides below 10,500 pts at Wednesday's close
The market cap value retreated by EGP 4.29 billion

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session on a negative note, pressured by foreign selloffs.

The main EGX30 index fell by 1.1% to close at 10,475 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declined by 1.01% to 2,058 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI dropped by 0.98% to 2,974 points, whereas the EGX50 EWI slid by 1.12% to 2,043 points.

The market cap value retreated by EGP 4.29 billion to stand at EGP 650.713 billion.

Local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 7.24 million and EGP 32.05 million, respectively, while foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 39.3 million.

The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 794.55 million after 321.87 million shares were exchanged through 32,214 transactions.
