Mubasher: The shareholders of Dana Gas approved the Board of Director's recommendation to distribute cash dividends at AED 5.5 fils per share for 2020, during the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) on Wednesday.

“The rebound in oil prices in the first quarter of the year will further support our robust financial position in 2021 as we continue to improve our operational capabilities.” Hamid Jafar, Chairman of Dana Gas, said.

The AGM concluded with the election of a new Board of Directors for the coming three-year term, according to the company’s statement.

Out of the 11 members, three new board members were elected, namely Younis Al Khoori, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Finance; Najla Al Midfa, CEO of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa); and Ajit Joshi, Managing Director and Head of Public and Private Markets at Shuaa.
