UAE - Mubasher: Eid Al Fitr holiday for the UAE's federal entities will begin on Tuesday, 29 Ramadan, until 3 Shawwal, based on the Islamic Hijri calendar, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced on its official Twitter account.
The exact dates of the holiday are subject to moon-sighting; hence, 29 Ramadan corresponds to 11 May.
Meanwhile, 3 Shawwal is expected to be on Saturday, 15 May, which is yet to be declared.
The FAHR offered greetings to the people of the UAE and Arab and Islamic nations around the world on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
