Dubai – Mubasher: The net profits of Ajman Bank have hiked to AED 31.331 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, compared to AED 4.609 million in the same period of 2020, according to the bank's interim financial results for the three-month period ended 31 March 2021.
The bank's net operating income increased to AED 166.372 million in the first three months of 2021 from AED 160.247 million in the year-ago period.
The bank's total assets amounted to AED 21.967 billion as of 31 March 2021, compared to AED 21.507 billion as of 31 December 2020.
Meanwhile, the earnings per share (EPS) stood at AED 0.015 in Q1-21, compared to AED 0.002 in Q1-20.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2020, the bank's net profits decreased to AED 53.4 million from AED 84.4 million in the earlier year.
