UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.24% to settle at 2,650 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.

A total of 74 million shares were traded through 1,524 transactions valued at AED 74.25 million.

Emirates Refreshments led the rising stocks with 5.17%, while Amlak Finance topped the losing stocks with 2.08%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down by around 0.02% to end Wednesday at 6,115.95 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.13 billion after 210.8 million shares had been exchanged through 2,084 transactions.

Gulf Cement Co. came on top of the green zone with 5.64%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) headed the red zone with 9.72%.
