Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has completed 481 developmental projects in Qalyubia Governorate at a total value of EGP 11.7 billion in fiscal years 2018/2019 and 2019/2020, the Minister of Planning, Hala El-Saeed, announced.

El-Saeed referred that nine projects were implemented in the governorate's water resources and irrigation sector at a total value of EGP 22 million, while five projects worth EGP 122 million were carried out in the health sector.

In addition, 82 projects valued at EGP 433.2 million and six projects worth EGP 29 million were implemented to develop the pre-university education and electricity and renewable energy sectors, respectively.

Around 28,300 social housing units were also completed in Qalyubia Governorate.
