International flights begin operating from King Khalid International Airport
Civil Aviation Authority issued an update to the guide for travellers

Riyadh – Mubasher: King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh witnessed on 17 May the take-off of the first international flights to Sarajevo International Airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Operating the flights came in line with the decision to lift the suspension of travel abroad across various international airports in Saudi Arabia.

The Civil Aviation Authority meanwhile has issued an update to the guide for travellers.

Earlier this month, the Saudi authorities said travelling would be allowed to Saudi citizens who have received two vaccination shots, or one shot at least 14 days prior to travel, those who recovered from COVID-19 within the last six months, and citizens who are younger than 18 years old.

The Kingdom has reported 433,094 COVID-19 infections until press time, of which 7,162 passed away and 417,787 recovered.
