Gold prices in Egypt rise more than EGP 10/gram in two days
The 21-karat gold reached EGP 800 per gram on Tuesday

Cairo – Mubasher: Gold prices in Egypt have witnessed an upward trend since the beginning of this week, supported by the gains of the precious metal globally. 

Nady Naguib, Secretary of the gold division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), told Mubasher on Tuesday that gold prices have increased by more than EGP 10 per gram since Monday as the global price rose to $1,868 per ounce.

The 21-karat gold reached EGP 800 per gram on Tuesday, while the per-gram prices of 24- and 18-karat gold grew to EGP 905 and EGP 700, respectively, Naguib revealed.
