Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session on a varied note amid local and Arab purchases and foreign selloffs.

The main EGX30 index retreated by 0.17% to end at 10,105 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 0.28% to 2,377 points.

In the meantime, the EGX100 EWI climbed by 0.5% to 3,320 points and the EGX50 EWI increased by 0.74% to 2,254 points.

The market cap value grew by EGP 3.39 billion to register EGP 642.550 billion.

Arab and local investors were net buyers with EGP 11.69 million and EGP 79.08 million, respectively, while foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 90.78 million.

The market’s turnover stood at EGP 1.7 billion after 568.9 million shares were exchanged through around 56,960 transactions.
