Mubasher: Quorum Software has completed the acquisition of TietoEVRY’s oil and gas software business, with the new combined company to operate as Quorum Software.
The acquired software business included the solutions of both Energy Components for hydrocarbon accounting and management as well as DaWinci for personnel and materials logistics, according to a press release.
Quorum is expected to connect operations to the boardroom and deliver on customer priorities following this acquisition, with the goal of automating critical workflows, integrating data, and driving intelligent business insights.
US-based Quorum Software will boost its presence in the Middle East through the current offices in the UAE and Kuwait in addition to its business in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The acquisition is projected to contribute to accelerating the digital transformation of the oil and gas energy sector in the region.
Earlier this year, Quorum merged with software provider for the energy industry Aucerna.
“Combining Quorum, Aucerna, and TietoEVRY’s oil and gas software business creates the global leader in software for connecting people, information, and energy,” according to the press release.
