UAE - Mubasher: The number of foreign investment funds registered in the UAE increased by 147% to 114 in 2020, when compared to 2019, according to the latest data by the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).

In the 2016-2020 period, the number of registered foreign investment funds raised to about 596, with around 270 funds in 2017, 164 in 2018, and 46 in 2019.

These investment funds came from several countries across the world, including the UK, Switzerland, India, the Cayman Islands, Saudi Arabia, Jersey, and Pakistan, alongside the foreign funds managed by some local financial institutions.
