UAE - Mubasher: The total number of parks and economic zones registered by DP World UAE Region increased by 4% to 9,603 in 2020, compared to 9,246 in 2019, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

The CEO and Managing Director of DP World - UAE Region and Jafza, Abdulla bin Damithan said that the higher number of parks and economic zones at the logistics company is attributed to the stimulus packages provided by Dubai to support the logistics company.

Damithan added that Jafza also recorded higher demand in its logistics and warehousing facilities.

Damithan further remarked: "These incentives have been introduced at the perfect time, as we are getting ready for Expo 2020 Dubai, a mega-event that the business community in the UAE has been waiting for. It will certainly help businesses get more support to participate in this major event, and help them offer top-notch services."
