Saudi Arabia registered 469,414 total cases since the pandemic started

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia announced 1,239 new COVID-19 infections on Wednesday.

There were 932 additional recoveries as well as 15 more deaths, the Ministry of Health said.

The Kingdom has registered a total of 469,414 cases since the pandemic started last year, of which 451,187 cured of the virus and 7,621 passed away.

Saudi Arabia has administrated over 16.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine until press time, the ministry said.

Tabuk Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company, a subsidiary of Astra Industrial Group, recently signed a contract with Moderna to commercialise the latter’s COVID-19 vaccine and future variant-specific booster candidates in Saudi Arabia.
