UAE - Mubasher: Emirates Airline will restore close to 90% of its pre-pandemic network by the end of July, as the company is gradually recovering its route networks and implementing its strategy to expand its presence in key markets.

By the end of July, Emirates will operate 880 weekly services across 124 cities, according to a press release on Thursday.

The airline is currently serving 115 global passenger destinations and will resume services to seven cities in July, including Venice, Phuket, Nice, Orlando, Mexico, Lyon, and Malta.

Emirates will also launch flights to Florida’s second-largest city, Miami, starting 22 July.

Emirates Chairman and Chief Executive, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, said: "We are encouraged by the latest developments as many countries have begun to turn the page and reopen for international visitors, and we are seeing strong signs of pent-up demand wherever restrictions have eased."
