TASI, NomuC end Sunday in red

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday at 10,790.75 points, down by 0.57% or 62.37 points compared to Thursday.

The trading valued amounted to SAR 11.57 billion after exchanging 342.02 million shares, lower than SAR 14.11 billion and 419.02 million shares in the prior session.

The pharmaceuticals sector led the decliners with 1.43%, while the financial services segment advanced the gainers with 3.09%.

Saudi British Bank (SABB) was the top faller with 2.46%, while Saudi Re for Cooperative Reinsurance headed the risers with 9.67%.

Saudi Advanced Industries Company (SAIC) recorded the highest trading value and volume of SAR 1.11 billion and 18.94 million shares, respectively.

Similarly, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) ended the session down by 0.99% or 229.54 points at 23,065.96 points.

National Building led the fallers with 1.53%, while Mohammed Hasan Al Naqool Sons topped the risers with 0.71%.
