Fully vaccinated travellers allowed to enter Egypt without PCR test

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Hala Zayed, announced that travellers who are fully vaccinated against coronavirus (COVID-19) will not be required to present a negative PCR test certificate upon arrival to the country. 

Travellers who got the second dose of Sinopharm, Sinovac, Sputnik V, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Moderna vaccines at least two weeks before their arrival and those who got the first dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine two weeks before their arrival will be allowed to enter the country, Deputy Minister of Health Khaled Megahed said in a statement on Thursday. 

For those coming from countries hit by COVID-19 variants, they will have to take an ID Now COVID-19 test upon arrival even if they are fully vaccinated.
