Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday's trading session on a positive note on the back of Arab purchases. 

The main EGX30 index rose by 1.32% to end at 10,256 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI levelled up by 1.67% to 2,323 points. 

Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI climbed by 1.45% to 3,278 points and the EGX50 EWI advanced by 1.31% to 2,155 points. 

The market cap value grew by EGP 6.64 billion to reach EGP 667.303 billion. 

Foreign and local investors were net sellers with EGP 6.3 million and EGP 54.22 million, respectively, while Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 60.54 million. 

The market's turnover stood at EGP 1.31 billion after 358.027 million shares were exchanged through around 43,620 transactions.
