EGX ends Sunday in red; market cap loses EGP 2.5bn
The market's turnover reached EGP 820.57 million

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday's trading session on a negative note, pressured by foreign and local selloffs. 

The main EGX30 index slid by 0.31% to 10,153 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 1.01% to 2,296 points. 

Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI retreated by 0.89% to 3,224 points and the EGX50 EWI declined by 1.04% to 2,097 points. 

The market cap lost EGP 2.56 billion to stand at EGP 655.214 billion. 

Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 10.9 million, while local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 1.3 million and EGP 9.6 million, respectively. 

The market's turnover reached EGP 820.57 million after 262.9 million shares were traded through around 31,800 transactions.
