Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday's trading session on a positive note on the back of Arab purchases. 

The main EGX30 index advanced by 0.79% to end at 10,233 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI climbed by 1.09% to 2,321 points. 

Likewise, the EGX100 EWI rose by 1% to 3,257 points and the EGX50 EWI increased by 1.01% to 2,119 points. 

The market cap value grew by EGP 4.09 billion to register EGP 659.309 billion. 

Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 95.63 million, while local and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 23.65 million and EGP 71.97 million, respectively.

The market's turnover amounted to EGP 1.18 billion after 326.49 million shares were exchanged through around 36,800 transactions.
