Riyadh – Mubasher: Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (Yansab) posted a leap of 581% in net profits after Zakat and tax to SAR 1.01 billion during the January-June 2021 period from SAR 149.3 million in the same period in 2020.

Earnings per share stood at SAR 1.81 in the first half (H1) of 2021, compared to SAR 0.27 in H1-20, according to the interim financial results on Sunday.

Annual revenues increased by 67% to SAR 3.7 billion in H1-21 from SAR 2.21 billion in H1-20.

As for the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, Yansab posted a profit of SAR 569.3 million, a jump of 1,231% from SAR 44.8 million in Q2-20.

Revenues surged 94% to SAR 1.98 billion in Q2-21 from SAR 1.02 billion in Q2-20.

On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q2-21 were higher by 41.8% than SAR 420.3 million in Q1-21. The revenues also increased by 18% from SAR 1.72 billion.
