EGX ends Monday mixed
The market cap value declined by EGP 1.4 billion

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday's trading session on a varied note amid Arab purchases and local and foreign selloffs. 

The main EGX30 index retreated by 0.45% to close at 10,697 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI climbed by 1.12% to 2,602 points. 

Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI advanced by 0.71% to 3,571 points and the EGX50 EWI went up by 0.82% to 2,284 points. 

The market cap value declined by EGP 1.4 billion to close at EGP 692.757 billion. 

Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 19.56 million, while local and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 7.3 million and EGP 12.18 million, respectively. 

The market's turnover amounted to EGP 1.73 billion after 545.721 million shares were exchanged through around 59,830 transactions.
