Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipe Company announces the occurrence of a fire incident in jointing department at its first factory on Friday evening of 30/07/2021 without any human casualties, which led to the temporary suspension of operation in the first factory. The company is currently investigating the causes of the accident and assessing the financial impact in light of Insurance coverage of the factory which covers the entire assets of the factory as well as the disruption of production operations. The first factory is scheduled to resume production operations in other departments within the next three days. The company also announces that production operations in its second factory are continuing normally and the company confirms its ability and commitment to provide and supply all the needs of its customers’ projects without any delays until the resumption of work in the damaged department in the first factory.
