Cairo - Mubasher: Alexandria Co. for Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries reported a 22.7% year-on-year (YoY) drop in its net profits to EGP 131.47 million in fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, compared to EGP 170.05 million, the unaudited financial results showed.

The sales increased to EGP 1.12 billion in the year ended 30 June from EGP 1.02 billion a year earlier, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday. 

During the first nine months of FY20/21, Alexandria Co. for Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries achieved net profits of EGP 108.17 million, down from EGP 134.37 million in the year-ago period.
