DFM ends Wednesday up; ADX down

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.62% to end Wednesday's session at 2,813.2 points.

A total of 96.15 million shares were traded through 3,111 transactions valued at AED 272.86 million.

Aan Digital Services Co led the rising stocks with 4.03%, while Emirates Refreshments came on top of the losing stocks with 9.94%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.38% to close Wednesday at 7,405.09 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.16 billion after 200.68 million shares had been exchanged through 4,912 transactions.

National Takaful Company (Watania) topped the green zone with 14.98%, while Abu Dhabi Ship Building Company (ADSB) led the red zone with 2.78%.
