Saudi Arabia has ranked 15th globally among the holders of the US bonds

Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Arabia has decreased its holdings of US Treasury bonds (T-bonds) by 6.3% to $127.8 billion during the first half (H1) of 2021, compared to $136.4 billion by the end of 2020.

On an annual basis, Saudi Arabia's investments in the US debt instruments rose by 2.3% from $124.9 billion by the end of June 2020, according to the latest data by the US Department of the Treasury.

Globally, Saudi Arabia has ranked 15th among the holders of the US Treasury bonds by the end of June.

At the Arab level, the Kingdom occupied the first position among the US bonds' holders, followed by the UAE with $60.8 billion investments and Kuwait with $47.2 billion.
