IDH records 141% revenue growth in H1-21
Net profits surged 283% to EGP 668 million in H1-21

Cairo – Mubasher: Integrated Diagnostics Holdings (IDH) achieved revenues worth EGP 2.29 billion during the first half (H1) of 2021, up 141% when compared to EGP 950 million in H1-20.

Net profits surged 283% to EGP 668 million in H1-21 compared to EGP 175 million in H1-20, according to a press release on Thursday.

Normalised EBITDA stood at EGP 1.2 billion in the first six months of 2021, increasing by 227% from H1-20.

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, revenues totalled EGP 1.16 billion, with net profit recording EGP 327 million and an associated margin of 28%.

The consumer healthcare company is listed on both the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and London Stock Exchange (LSE), with operations in Egypt, Jordan, Sudan, and Nigeria.

During the six-month period this year, IDH leveraged a growing branch network that has reached 495 branches, and an expanded house call service to serve 4.7 million patients.

CEO of IDH, Hend El-Sherbini, said: “It is particularly important to highlight that the group’s conventional test volumes in H1-21 surpassed pre-Covid-19 levels, coming in 4% higher than test volumes recorded in the same six months of 2019 after adjusting for the impact of the 100 Million Healthy Lives Campaign.”
