UAE - Mubasher: Ethmar Holding, APEX Al Wataniya Logistics, and Averro Technology have partnered to launch SkyGo, a transportation company specialised in using the latest drone technologies, in Abu Dhabi.

Establishing a drone-based transportation and logistics company aims to innovate new solutions based on the latest technologies to address the challenges facing the transportation and delivery services sector, according to a press release on Sunday.

The new company will begin its operations with a 40-station network supporting the healthcare sector in 2022.

The Executive Board Member of SkyGo, Sultan Al Dhaheri, said: "SkyGo is an Abu Dhabi-based disruptive technology company providing logistics and supply chain solutions by drones. In the next phase, our plan is to expand to other sectors locally and regionally, which will be announced soon, and provide the best air transport services using UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)."
