Emirates to raise US flights from October amid ease of travel restrictions
The airline will resume US services to nearly 80% of pre-COVID-19 levels

UAE - Mubasher: Emirates Airline will raise the number of flights to US destinations from October 2021 to meet the growing customer needs following the ease of travel restrictions and the rising travel confidence.

The airline will resume US services to nearly 80% of pre-coronavirus (COVID-19) levels by October and to over 90% by December, as Dubai is preparing for a number of major events including Expo 2020, according to a press release on Monday.

From October, Emirates will be operating 78 weekly flights to 12 destinations in the US with a rise in weekly flights scheduled for Boston, Dallas, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC.

The airline has restored the pre-COVID-19 daily flight levels to Chicago, Los Angeles, and on the routes connecting Athens-Newark and Milan-New York.

It is noteworthy to mention that from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, Dubai is set to host the World Expo, the first event of its kind event to be convened in the region, with Emirates as its premier partner and official airline.
