UAE stock markets close Wednesday on negative note
The benchmark index of the DFM went down 0.14%

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.14% to settle at 2,827 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.

A total of 52.518 million shares were traded through 2,368 transactions valued at AED 109.419 million.

Ekttitab Holding Company topped the losing stocks with 6.25%, while Al Firdous Holding led the rising stocks with 14.75%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.33% to close Wednesday's session at 7,730 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.26 billion after 153.8 million shares had been exchanged through 5,549 transactions.

Zee Stores came on top of the red zone with 3.79%, while Palms Sports headed the green zone with 4.06%.
