EGX30 ends Wednesday below 10,400 pts
The market cap lost EGP 1.85 billion

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday's trading session on a negative note amid foreign selloffs.

The main EGX30 index decreased by 0.53% to end at 10,391 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 0.35% to 2,699 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI declined by 0.24% to 3,631 points and the EGX50 EWI retreated by 0.42% to 2,284 points.

The market cap lost EGP 1.85 billion to record EGP 696.376 billion.

Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 35.03 million, while local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 30.15 million and EGP 4.8 million, respectively.

The market's turnover reached EGP 986.42 million after 317.66 million shares were exchanged through around 38,620 transactions.
