Average salaries to Saudis up 5.2% in Q2-21
The average monthly salaries paid to expatriates fell by 1.08% YoY

Riyadh – Mubasher: Average monthly salaries paid to Saudi citizens, aged 15 or older, increased by 5.2% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 10,490 in the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, compared to SAR 9,970 in Q2-20, according to data collected by Mubasher based on official figures.

On a quarterly basis, the salaries declined by 1.03% when compared to their level in Q1-21 at SAR 10,600, a report released by General Authority for Statistics (GaStat) showed.

Meanwhile, the average monthly salaries paid to expatriates in the kingdom fell by 1.08% YoY to SAR 4,091 in the April-June period, compared to SAR 4,136 in the year-ago period.
