Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday's trading session on a varied note amid local and foreign selloffs and Arab purchases.

The main EGX30 index rose by 0.65% to end at 10,783 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI inched up by 0.14% to 2,679 points.

In the meantime, the EGX100 EWI stabilised at 3,630 points and the EGX50 EWI rose by 0.35% to 2,296 points.

The market cap value increased by EGP 2.72 billion to close at EGP 707.218 billion.

The market's turnover reached EGP 811.03 million after 306.2 million shares were exchanged through nearly 32,590 transactions.

Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 852.29 million, while local and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 808.18 million and EGP 44.1 million, respectively.
