UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.05% to end Wednesday's session at 2,789.37 points.
A total of 86.57 million shares were traded through 2,296 transactions valued at AED 113.3 million.
Emaar Development led the rising stocks with 2.11%, while Al Firdous Holdings topped the losing stocks with 9.74%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.01% to close Wednesday's trading session at 7,786.28 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 1.54 billion after 243.66 million shares had been exchanged through 8,769 transactions.
Al Qudra Holding headed the red zone with 4.2%, while Zee Stores led the green zone with 15%.
