Dubai –  Mubasher: Aramex has partnered with International Humanitarian City in Dubai (IHC) to raise efficiency in delivering humanitarian services across the world.

Under the agreement, Aramex will benefit from its global network to help IHC facilitate the transportation of aid including food, medicine, and vaccines to those in need, according to a press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, both entities seek to integrate innovation and energy efficiency in humanitarian initiatives and optimise the storage of relief items.

The President of Aramex, Andy Van der Velde, said: "This partnership with IHC will help us deliver on our commitment of making a positive impact on the societies and human lives by leveraging our core services and global network to deliver basic needs to those in need in a safe, reliable and timely manner."

Meanwhile, the CEO of IHC, Giuseppe Saba, commented: "The role of the private sector has been instrumental and we hope this partnership will further enhance the emergency preparedness and response capabilities for an efficient humanitarian action."
