DFM closes Tuesday up; ADX down

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.01% to settle at 2,866.12 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

A total of 172.647 million shares were traded through 4,307 transactions valued at AED 271.629 million.

Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) led the rising stocks with 14.63%, while Aramex topped the losing stocks with 3.4%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.39% to close Tuesday's session at 7,902.99 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.861 billion after 413.31 million shares had been exchanged through 11,502 transactions.

United Arab Bank (UAB) came on top of the red zone with 9.91%, while Bank of Sharjah headed the green zone with 14.94%.
