EGX loses EGP 1.3bn in market cap at Wednesday's close
The market's turnover stood at EGP 1.21 billion

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday's trading session on a mixed note with the main EGX30 index rising by 0.96% to end at 11,364 points. 

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declined by 0.54% to 2,249 points, while EGX100 EWI retreated by 0.49% to 3,230 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI edged down by 0.02% to end at 2,079 points.

The market cap value dropped by EGP 1.34 billion to close at EGP 739.976 billion.

Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 14.67 million, while local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 1.69 million and EGP 12.97 million, respectively.

The market's turnover stood at EGP 1.21 billion after 532.8 million shares were exchanged through nearly 42,440 transactions.
