Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has purchased 360,000 tonnes of Russian, Ukrainian, and Romanian wheat in an international tender, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported. 

The country will buy 180,000 tonnes from Russia, 120,000 tonnes from Ukraine, and 60,000 tonnes from Romania. 

The shipment will take place between 1 and 12 December.

The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade affirmed that the strategic reserve of wheat is sufficient for the next six months.
