Riyadh – Mubasher: The interim financials of Al Hammadi Company for Development and Investment reported a 21.061% year-on-year (YoY) decrease in net profits after zakat and tax to SAR 79.42 million in the first nine months of 2021 from SAR 100.61 million.

The company generated revenues of SAR 669.46 million in the January-September period of 2021, up 25.463% from SAR 533.59 million in the corresponding nine months of 2020, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.

The earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 0.66 during the first nine months of 2021, versus SAR 0.84 in the year-ago period.

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2021, the company's net profits after zakat and tax plunged by 90.21% YoY to SAR 3.58 million from SAR 36.57 million in the corresponding period of 2020.

Meanwhile, the company's board has recommended a cash dividend distribution of SAR 72 million for the fiscal year 2021, equivalent to 6% of the company's capital.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first half (H1) of 2021, the company registered net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 75.84 million, higher by 18.4% than SAR 64.05 million in the same six months last year.
