UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Thursday's trading session on a positive note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up 0.43% to settle at 3,170.27 points by the end of Thursday's session.

A total of 416.131 million shares were traded through 7,306 transactions valued at AED 538.849 million.

Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) led the rising stocks with 14.92%, while Union Properties topped the losing stocks with 3.88%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up 0.66 % to close Thursday's session at 8,559 transactions.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.587 billion after 194.295 million shares had been exchanged through 8,559 transactions.

Al Buhaira National Insurance Company came on top of the green zone with 14.86%, while Abu Dhabi National Co. for Building Materials (Bildco) headed the red zone with 8.97%.
